NeoDynamics is a privately owned Swedish medical technology company based on research conducted at the renowned Karolinska Institutet. Our aim is to drive progress within precision cancer management with minimally invasive technologies that improve precision, quality and safety in tissue sampling.

Our team

Anna Eriksrud

CEO

Anna Eriksrud has a background as a healthcare entrepreneur. From 2009 to 2015, her responsibilities included starting up and leading Apoteksamariten AB, an integrated pharmacy, healthcare and physical therapy clinic that was acquired by LloydsApotek in 2015. She also has 25+ years of experience in the medtech and pharma sectors in her roles at Q-Med and Pharmacia. She has experience as a leader of international cross-functional teams, building new market categories and launching global brands both in Europe and the US. Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics. She owns 14,750 shares corresponding to 0.16% of voting rights and share capital, as well as an additional 160,000 stock options, in NeoDynamics.

Jörgen Vrenning

CFO

Jörgen Vrenning was previously a CEO and fund manager in the asset management industry. He has more than 25 years of experience from the financial markets in several positions in Swedish fund management companies including Catella, Handelsbanken and Carnegie). He also has an entrepreneurial background from a number of start-up companies. Jörgen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. He owns 315,120 shares corresponding to 3.45% of voting rights and share capital in NeoDynamics.

Kai-Uwe Schässburger

Director Clinical Development & Medical Affairs

Kai-Uwe Schässburger has ten years of experience in R&D and clinical validation within interventional radiology, from positions in academia and the medical device industry. Since 2011 he has been a project manager in product development with a focus on clinical validation at NeoDynamics. Kai-Uwe has built up a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders in Europe and the USA and owns 40,000 shares corresponding to 0.44% of voting rights and share capital, as well as 180,000 stock options, in NeoDynamics.

Magnus Olsen

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Development Officer

Magnus Olsen has broad experience both as a Functional Manager and within program and project management, including roles as Head of Project & Production Management and member of Sr. Leadership Team at St. Jude Medical AB. He has 15+ years of experience in medtech R&D, program management, process development and portfolio management. During his career he has developed several high-performance teams and participated in a number of successful projects. Magnus has been COO and CDO at NeoDynamics since 2012 and owns 73,750 shares corresponding to 0.81% of voting rights and share capital, as well as 210,000 stock options, in NeoDynamics.

Gunilla Almqvist

Sales & Marketing Manager

Gunilla Almqvist has 18 years of experience in the pharma and medtech industries, gained through sales and product/marketing manager roles at large pharmaceutical companies. She has worked for leading players including Sanofi Pasteur MSD, GlaxoSmithKline, AGA and Recip (now Meda), driving successful high-profile projects such as the relaunch of a leading multivitamin brand and the launch of the HPV vaccine Gardasil in Sweden. Gunilla started her career as an intensive care nurse and is highly familiar with the examination room and the hospital environment.

Ingrid Salén

Chairman of the Board Ingrid is the founder of Rentability AB. Ingrid Salén is the Founder of Rentability AB. Ingrid has held several positions within Global Purchasing at Scania CV AB between 1995 and 2009, including her role as Head of Purchasing, which she held from 2003. From May 2012 to March 2014 she held the role of Director of Sourcing and Supplier Management at Maquet Critical Care AB. Ingrid is also a board member of Garpco AB. She owns 278,500 shares corresponding to 3.05% of voting rights and share capital in NeoDynamics through her fully owned company Rentability Sweden AB.

Claes Pettersson

Board member Claes Pettersson is a co-founder at Alfaskop AB, where he worked within the group management within business development between 1996 and 1999. Today he is CFO at SMReality AB (publ) and recently held similar part-time roles at AMRA Medicals AB and Impact Coatings AB (publ). Claes is a board member of several smaller growing companies and serves as a member of LiU Invest, Linköping University’s venture capital organization for seed capital contributions to business concepts originating from the University. He has also founded or co-founded a number of other companies. Claes owns 206,250 shares corresponding to 2.26% of voting rights and share capital in NeoDynamics.

Xiao-Jun Xu

Board member Xiao-Jun Xu holds a lecture position at the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. Following medical studies in China, he moved to Sweden in 1988 and obtained his PhD degree at Karolinska Institutet in 1991. To date he has published more than 180 original research papers with more than 9,000 citations. He has also been involved in several projects focused on the commercial development of novel analgesics. Xu is representing NKY Medical Holdings Ltd., a major owner of NeoDynamics. He has no personal ownership of voting rights or share capital in NeoDynamics.

Carina Bolin

Independent Board Member Carina Bolin is a trained legal attorney from Uppsala University with a specialization in Corporate and Contract Law. As a legal attorney she has represented a number of organizations including Olink Proteomics, ABB AB, Q-Med AB and the law firm Brann AB. She was previously a public prosecutor at Uppsala Municipal Court and has been a board member of Academicum Utbildning och Bemmaning AB and ApotekSamariten AB. Carina has no personal ownership of voting rights or share capital in NeoDynamics.
